look at the Sandals resorts (there are several). The Caribbean is very hot & humid in the summer; hurricane season starts around Sept-Oct. Spring is the most comfortable but the most expensive; summer is cheaper for a reason. What is nice about the Carib is that there are so many cultures down there–US, Spanish, Dutch, English etc depending on who settled which island. go to a book store & browse through the travel section to help make your decision. there is also Bermuda in the Atlantic ocean. Then there are all kinds of things further afield.
