Which of the following is the best vacation destination for a family?

My family is going to go on a vacation within about a 5 hour drive from Chicago. Our possibilities are Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington (KY), and St. Louis. Which of these would be the best for a family with children ages ranging from 8-20? If you have other cities or suggestions within the 5 hour drive radius that’d be good as well. If you could explain your answer too I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks :D

There are several interesting things to do in Louisville.

Glassworks at 9th & Main,
Louisville Slugger Baseball Museum on Main between 8th & 9th,
Science Center on Main between 7th & 8th,
International History Museum on Main between 7th & 8th,
Steamboat cruise on the Belle of Louisville at River Rd,
Locust Grove Historic Home on Blankenbaker Ln,
Farmington Historic Home on Bardstown Rd,
The Louisville Zoo on Trevilian Way off of Poplar Level Rd. (they currently have a baby elephant),
Speed Art Museum on S. 3rd St,
Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville on S. 3rd St,
Kentucky Derby Museum on Central Ave,
Bardstown Road (tons of unique stores and restaurants).

Simply put your best bet is to do research about the destinations and compare them to the personalities and interests of your family. The place with the most things that would actually interest your family probably the one to go to.
