Family is looking to go on vacation to the beach next summer. Anyone have suggestions? We have looked at Emerald Isle, NC, Seaside FL, Reddington Beach FL, Indian Rocks FL, or Tybee Island GA.
Ft. Walton Beach and Destin has nice restaurants, nightlife, a fishing pier, a great beach with beach activities like body surfing, kiteboarding, dolphin cruises, booze cruises, fishing, etc… It’s a lot of fun.

I spent a year in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and I loved it. The beaches are clean, gorgeous, and go on forever. The fishing is also outstanding there. Book a charter or bring the whole family on one of the ‘party boats’ they have for red snapper fishing. We always caught plenty of fish. Then you can bring your fish to some restaurants in Destin and they’ll prepare it for you.
